For the second time this month, we are mourning one of our own. Rhonda Newberry, MCC Nursing faculty, passed away suddenly July 30.
Rhonda was a psychiatric nurse and nurse practitioner. She taught nursing at MCC for over 17 years. She is survived by her children, Amber and Patrick, and her dog Dixie.
The service will be today at 2 pm, at Swartz Funeral Home in Grand Blanc.
Rhonda was a lover of animals and contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the ASPCA or the Genesee County Humane Society.
