It's Just Like Riding a Bike...

Need to get out more and enjoy this nice weather? Here is a guide to some of our area's best biking trails.

1. Flint River Trail (Downtown)

17 scenic miles, all the way from the UM-Flint campus to Bluebell Beach. Bonus: UM-Flint Rec Center has bikes to rent for only $2/hour! Maps of the trail are also available at the UM-Flint Rec Center.

2. Black Creek Nature Trail (Davison)

1.6 miles from the Davison Twp. Municipal Center to Jack Abernathy Regional Park.

3. George Atkin Jr. Recreational Trail (Clio)

7.5 mile trail alongside Pine Run Creek in Clio. Start at the Clio Park and follow the trail any direction you choose.

4. Genesee Valley Trail (Flint Twp.)

This short (1.7 miles) but sweet trail runs from the Genesee Valley Mall to Corunna Rd.
