Your EA president Larry Juchartz, Grievance Officer Robb Dudock, Communications Officer Jackie Knoll, and Secretary Vanessa Ferguson recently spent two days at the annual MEA Bargaining, Public Policy, and Professional Development Conference held at the Cobo Center in Detroit.

Topics covered included bargaining tactics, member retention, member engagement, and effective communication.

We also enjoyed the opportunity to get to know other MEA members from across the state as well as spend some time discussing our members' needs with our UniServ director Tanya Pratt and MESSA rep Terri Scharf.
